Turn on or reboot my GoDaddy smart terminal

Press and hold the power button for different durations to wake up, restart or reboot your GoDaddy smart terminal.

1. Before you begin, ensure that your GoDaddy smart terminal is connected to a power source:
   • Terminal intelligent Poynt: Connect the power supply directly to the device or place the device on the docking station. If using a docking station, the cord should extend from the dock toward the merchant screen.
   • GoDaddy Smart Terminal Flex: Connect the power supply directly to the device.
2. Complete the following steps to wake, turn on, turn off or reboot the smart terminal:
   • Wake the smart terminal: Your smart terminal has a sleep function that conserves power between uses. You can wake it up by pressing the power button and releasing it quicky (hold it for about 1 second).
   • Power on the smart terminal: Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds.
   • Power down or reboot the smart terminal: Press and hold the power button for about 1 second. On the menu that appears, tap Power off or Restart.
