What is PINless debit?
Note: As of May 2025, this feature is in limited release. It will be automatically enabled for all GoDaddy Payments merchants soon.
PINless debit lets your customers pay for in-person transactions with a debit card without entering a PIN. Bypassing the PIN entry requirement removes card declines caused by incorrect PIN entry and improves overall transaction speed—so your line moves more quickly. When a customer uses their debit card to pay, they’re prompted to add their signature (just like a credit card), but they don’t see a PIN entry screen.
