Unable to update A record

I have a domain (with GoDaddy) hosted from another GoDaddy account.

Now I want to upgrade the hosting plan, but Domain Manager does not provide me with option to update the A record. It shows three A records with value 'Proxied'Screen Shot 2017-12-19 at 1.31.16 PM.png

 

Need some guidance to update A records with the new IP address.

Oh wait till their support team passes you to their 'Advanced Support Team'

They have a very good strategy of tiring their customers.

When the support is this efficient, community has to be active.

 

Anyways, Go to your domains -> Select the domain you want to change the records -> First card will have option for 'Manage TrustedSite'

I found the the cause. In my case, I had Trusted Site setup for the domain.

Had to turn that off, to change the hosting and repurchase it ( I know, weird right?)

Wow, thanks for the quick reply. I'm new to this, how do I turn that off? I can't seem to find the setting anywhere. Funny thing, I'm currently on chat with their support and you seem to respond faster than them.

Haha, so that card is not showing up on that page for me. They are already sending me to "Advance Support"... Yikes.

Hi,

 

The "starkip" configured in your DNS record becuase you have subscribed the domain trust service from godaddy (i.e. McAfee Secure).

 

If you want edit or remove from DNS, you need to unpublish the McAfee Secure in the domain manager.
