I am having some trouble with my email setup. I had an email with my domain name with Google Apps and have cancelled that subscription. I set up the same email with GoDaddy but it is stuck at the 'validating MX records'. I don't know what to do, should I just wait? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Once an email subscription is moved to another service your domains DNS zone file will need to be updated with the proper MX records (Mail Exchanger records) so that your emails route properly. In most cases, if the DNS is hosted with GoDaddy, this change will occur automatically but may require upto 24 hours for propagation so that our system can see the new MX records. I recommend that you spend a few moments with our 24/7 customer support line so that they may review your live DNS settings in case they may need to be adjusted.
