Regain access to my account when I do not have access to the original account email address
When you use your email address to sign in to your account, we'll send a temporary access code to the email address we have on file for your account. Or, you might already be signed in to your account but you're trying to perform a high-risk task like editing sensitive information. We'll send that temporary code in these cases as well. But it's possible that you no longer have access to that email address, and you will not be able to get that code.
If you no longer have access to the account email address, follow the steps for your situation:
I know my GoDaddy username and password
- In your account home page, in the top right corner, select Sign in and then select Sign in from the menu.
- Enter your username and password.
- If you’re asked to enter a verification code sent to an email address you can’t access, select Recover your account.
- Follow the prompts to verify your identity and recover access to your account. If you’re eligible, you may be able to complete recovery online. If additional review is needed, you’ll be directed to submit an account-recovery request.
I don't know my username, or I can't sign in
- In your account home page, in the top right corner, select Sign in and then select Sign in from the menu.
- At the bottom of the Sign In page, select Need to find your username?
- Select Can’t access your email?
- On the Account Recovery form, select Start Verification.
- Follow the prompts to submit your recovery request. We’ll review your information and respond within 48 hours.
Required: You'll need to upload a color copy of your government-issued photo identification to complete the Account Recovery process and ensure the security of the account. Specific details must be shown in your upload.
- Must be a color copy
- Complete name
- Signature
- Date of birth
- Date of issue
- Expiration date
- The person pictured must be clearly identifiable
- If a company is listed on your account, you'll need to provide business documentation for the company
