Your GoDaddy Studio app is becoming the GoDaddy app
We're making some exciting changes to our mobile apps so you can easily create, manage and grow your business on the go. Here's what's happening and what it means for you.

What's changing?
We're reorganizing and rebranding our mobile apps as follows:
- GoDaddy Studio app: renamed to GoDaddy app
- PoS & Tap to Pay app: renamed to GoDaddy Commerce app
- GoDaddy Conversations app: remains unchanged
- GoDaddy Investor app: remains unchanged
At the same time, we're changing the name of the GoDaddy Studio design tool to Content Creator. If you have Websites + Marketing or Digital Marketing, you'll recognize this name since that's how the tool appears when you're editing images for your website or social media. Now the Content Creator name applies to the full version of this tool as well.
When will these changes happen?
Starting February 2026, we’ll begin automatically updating the GoDaddy Studio app to the GoDaddy app. If automatic updates are disabled on your device, simply download and install the GoDaddy app from your app store.
Do I need to do anything?
If automatic updates are enabled on your device, there’s nothing you need to do—your app will automatically update to the new name. If automatic updates are disabled, visit your device’s app store to find and install the GoDaddy app. All your projects and tools will remain unchanged after the update.
Why are we making this change?
By combining our apps under the GoDaddy brand name, you have a more seamless way to manage your creative and business tools. This change makes it easier for you to find, use and trust our mobile apps.
What will the new GoDaddy app have?
Beyond the creative GoDaddy Studio tools you know and love, the GoDaddy app now includes even more of what you need to run your business on the go. It offers:
- Domain sales and management: Buy and manage domains directly from the app
- Website creation: Build and manage websites on the go
- Marketing capabilities: Create and manage marketing campaigns, and post on social media
- Customer communication: Manage all your customer communications, from social media messages to emails and web forms, through your Conversations inbox
Note: Customers on the GoDaddy Conversations Essentials plan can already access their messages in the GoDaddy app. We'll slowly be moving our other customers over in the next months, and you can continue using the GoDaddy Conversations app until the migration is complete.
- Pay Links: Create Online Pay Links for your business
Note: You'll still use the GoDaddy Commerce app to manage your GoDaddy Payments account. Only Pay Links are available on the GoDaddy app.
- Identity verification: Enroll your device as an authenticator to verify your identity when you sign in to your GoDaddy account, which keeps your account safe
- Notifications: Get notified about domain renewals, customer queries and other critical business tasks
- Creative tools: Keep using the existing GoDaddy Studio creative tools you know—your projects remain unchanged
