Review Security Check results and adjust monitoring settings

The Security Check scan identifies malware, outdated software, vulnerabilities, blocklist status and other issues present on the site which might indicate the need for a cleanup. You can review the results of this remote malware scanner by following the steps below.

1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
2. Under Website Security and Backups, next to the site you want to configure, select Manage.
3. Under Monitoring, select Green Status, Yellow Status, or Red Status.
4. Select the status link for the date you'd like to review. The Security Check page for that date appears.

5. Select a tab to get more information: Malware, Vulnerabilities, Web Trust, Outdated, and Issues.
6. To adjust the monitoring settings, select the More menu, and then Settings.

• To update the frequency of the scan: in the dropdown menu select either Daily or Every 12 Hours and then select Save.
• If your site uses HTTPS specifically, you can enable the HTTPS option to avoid redirects and unwanted results: switch the toggle to 'on' under to HTTPS.
• To enable email notifications: switch the toggle to 'on' under Email Notifications.

Repeat these steps for each monitoring type: Security Check, Uptime, SSL Scanner, and DNS Scanner.
