Set up my Website Security account
After you've purchased Website Security, set it up to start scanning your site to identify vulnerabilities or compromises.
- Go to your GoDaddy product page.
- Under Website Security and Backups, next to the Website Security account you want to set up, select Add Site.
- Select My Domain is with GoDaddy if your domain is registered and managed in the same GoDaddy account. Select My domain is hosted with another provider if your domain is registered and managed somewhere else.
- Depending on what you chose in the previous step, either select a domain from the dropdown list, or type a domain in the box, then select Continue.
Once the site has been added, you will be taken to your Security Dashboard where you will be able to manage the various features included in the Website Security plan.
Continue with the next steps in the setup workflow to finish activating all features.

- Locate your available plans at the top of the security dashboard page.
- Select Add Site or Set Up.
- Select My Domain is with GoDaddy if your domain is registered and managed in the same GoDaddy account. Select My domain is hosted with another provider if your domain is registered and managed somewhere else.
- Depending on what you chose in the previous step, either select a domain from the dropdown list, or type a domain in the box, then select Continue.
Once the site has been added, you will be taken to your Security Dashboard where you will be able to manage the various features included in the Website Security plan.
