Translate my Airo AI Builder site into other languages
When you translate your Airo AI Builder site, you're adding another language that visitors can choose from. Your original content stays as you wrote it, and visitors switch between languages using a language switcher. You're free to add as many languages as you need to.
Each language version has its own URL path, so both visitors and search engines can tell languages apart. Airo also labels each page with its own language, but this doesn't tell search engines the pages are translations of each other. To make that connection, ask Airo to “add hreflang tags for SEO.”
Follow this recommended workflow to get the most accurate translation while using fewer AI credits.
Build your entire site in one language first
Before you translate anything, build your whole site, including all pages, sections and content, in your native language. Add and finalize every piece of content you want on the site before you move on to translation.
Translate your finished site as one update
Once your site is complete, translate it in a single pass instead of translating individual pages or sections as you go. Translating the whole site at once gives Airo AI Builder full context, which results in a more accurate translation and uses fewer AI credits than translating piece by piece.
To make the translated version available to customers, publish your site.
After you add new content or edit existing content, translate again
New pages or sections you add after you translate your site are not translated automatically. You'll need to run translation again to include them.
Editing your original language content after you've translated your site doesn't automatically update the translated versions. Run translation again after making edits to keep every language in sync.
