Add a dropdown menu to my website
Dropdown menus in your website's navigation bar are a great way to group pages and help visitors discover them—without having to click their way to each one. It also helps keep your navigation bar more compact.
- Go to your GoDaddy product page.
- Scroll down, expand Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your website.
- Select Edit Website or Edit Site to open your website builder.
- Add a dropdown menu, similar to how you'd add a new page:
- In a browser, in the right panel, select
Add Page, and then New Dropdown.
- In the GoDaddy mobile app, tap Pages, tap Add, and then tap Dropdown menu.
- Write your menu title (required field). Keep your navigation bar simple with short, clear names.
- Under Select dropdown pages, you can now select which pages on your site your dropdown will link to.
- The pages will appear in your dropdown in the order that they appear in your site navigation. You can reorder your pages in your site navigation.
- If you want to add links to external webpages, you'll be able to do that later, after you've created your dropdown menu.
- When you're finished, select Create Menu.
- Your changes are saved automatically. Use Preview to see the results, and when you're ready to make the changes public, publish your site.
