Fix images with Airo AI Builder

If an image on your website or app isn't showing, has changed unexpectedly or won't upload, try these fixes using Airo AI Builder.

Images show in preview but not on my live app or site

This usually means your Airo AI Builder and live app or site are briefly out of sync after a change.

  1. Republish your app or site.
  2. Wait a few minutes, and then refresh your browser by pressing Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac).

Airo AI Builder changed an image I didn't ask it to change

A broad prompt can sometimes lead to unintended changes, but you can restore or revert your site or app to a previous version.

  1. Go to your Airo AI Builder apps page and then select your app or website.
  2. Below the chat, select Settings Settings, and then select Backups.
Backups panel in Airo AI Builder settings
  3. Select a version to restore, and then select Restore.
  4. Going forward, follow our Airo AI Builder prompt best practices to help ensure more predictable results.

My image upload freezes or keeps loading

If Airo AI Builder freezes or keeps spinning during an image upload, try these steps:

  1. Refresh the page and try to upload the image again.
  2. If it keeps failing, try a smaller file or a different format. The maximum file size you can upload is 25 MB and accepted formats are .jpg, .png and .webp.
  3. If the problem continues, contact GoDaddy support.

My image appeared in the wrong section or was not applied as expected

Airo AI Builder may sometimes place an image in a different section than intended or interpret instructions differently.

  1. Try again with a more specific prompt. Name the exact location, like "the hero image on my homepage" and describe the image clearly.
  2. If it keeps placing the wrong image, select Select the Edit function Edit to replace it directly, without AI involvement.

I'm still having issues with images

If you're still having difficulties, please contact us for assistance. Please have your app ID ready. You'll find it in your Airo AI Builder URL, after "/develop/" and before "?siteId=".
