GoDaddy Studio Help

GoDaddy Studio's Link in Bio is moving to Website Builder

We're moving GoDaddy Studio's Link in Bio over to GoDaddy Website Builder. Website Builder offers a robust and trusted set of tools for you to create your website, no matter how big or small.

Why is Link in Bio moving to Website Builder?

Website Builder is our tried-and-tested platform through which we can offer you more functionality, better uptime and a secure online presence. It also allows you to seamlessly connect to the GoDaddy ecosystem as you scale your business, should you decide to create a fully-functional website that accepts payments and appointments, or if you create an online store.

How will this benefit my business?

With Website Builder, you can create and edit as many Link in Bio sites as you want, and quickly publish and unpublish them as needed. You can also link your own domain, giving your business credibility and helping customers identify you online.

In 2024, we’ll be adding the ability to view usage data for your site and use advanced website features to help you scale your business online.

How will this impact my business?

If you already have a Link in Bio, you’ll need to create a new site on Website Builder once we move. You can keep using your current Link in Bio for now, but starting May 2024, we’ll be taking all previous Link in Bios offline. We’ll let customers with existing Link in Bios know when this happens through a notification in the GoDaddy Studio app.

If you’ve never created a Link in Bio with GoDaddy before, we’ll guide you through creating your site with Website Builder. We’ll ask you a few questions, and based on your responses, we’ll create your new Link in Bio site, which you can then edit, or publish immediately.

Creating your new Link in Bio won’t cost anything and your site will be live as soon as you publish it, so there’s no downtime.

When will Link in Bio move to Website Builder?

By May 2024, we’ll start removing Link in Bio sites created outside of Website Builder. We’ll let you know before this happens through a notification in the GoDaddy Studio app, but to avoid downtime, we recommend creating your site on Website Builder before then.
