How do I change my admin email address at my current registrar?
Before you initiate a domain name transfer to us, the administrative contact for your domain must have a valid email address. (If you are transfering a .au domain name to us, you must have a valid email address associated with your registrant contact information.)
Having a valid administrative email address is important because both registrars (your current registrar and us) use it to send you information about the transfer, such as your authorization code (if required).
