PHP error and access logs on Managed Hosting for WordPress
You can view and download PHP error logs and access logs directly from your Managed Hosting for WordPress dashboard, making it faster and easier to understand what's happening on your site.
From the Site Logs section of your dashboard, you can access:
- PHP Error Logs (up to the last 14 days)
- Access Logs (up to the last 14 days)
Logs are available for production sites and can be filtered by date, searched, and downloaded as a CSV for easy sharing with developers.
Why this matters
These logs highlight the most helpful activity for troubleshooting, without overwhelming you with unnecessary data. They focus on:
- Errors that affect site functionality
- Requests that fail or behave unexpectedly
- Traffic that reaches your site's origin (non-cached requests)
To keep performance fast and data manageable, cached Cloudflare requests are not included.
How does this help you?
With direct access to site logs, you can:
- Quickly identify PHP errors caused by plugins, themes, or custom code
- Investigate repeated 500 errors and failed requests
- Spot suspicious or unexpected POST requests
- Share precise, actionable data with your developer
- Troubleshoot issues without needing FTP, SSH, or third-party tools
By surfacing only the most relevant information, Site Logs help you get answers faster, especially during high-impact site issues.
