Cookies are small data files that track visitors' movements across a website. You can also use the Facebook pixel or a Google Analytics tracking ID to track your visitors.

In some U.S. states, and many countries around the world, there are privacy laws requiring you to obtain explicit consent to track visitors, or to give visitors the option to opt out of being tracked. These laws may also require you to notify visitors about your use of data tracking. Displaying a cookie banner gives your visitors control over their own privacy and protects you from potentially being fined if you aren’t following the law. Your policies can be described in the Privacy Policy section of your site.

  1. Seleziona Modifica sito web per aprire Website Builder.
  2. Seleziona IMPOSTAZIONI, quindi Banner cookie.
    Nota: il banner dei cookie sarà attivato per impostazione predefinita per i nuovi siti web. Se il banner dei cookie è disattivato, dovrai attivarlo all'aggiunta di eventuali integrazioni di monitoraggio di terze parti come Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel e così via.
  3. Assicurati che il selettore Mostra notifica cookie sia attivato. La finestra della politica sui cookie viene visualizzata al caricamento del sito web e rimane visibile fino a quando il visitatore non sceglie di accettare o rifiutare.
    • Se i visitatori selezionano Accetto, dati relativi al loro comportamento, quali clic e pagine individuali visitate, o altri dati monitorati da terze parti (come Facebook, Google, Pinterest, ecc.) possono essere tracciati.
    • Se i visitatori selezionano Rifiuto, fanno clic fuori dalla finestra o chiudono in altro modo la finestra, i dati non vengono tracciati. Gli strumenti di tracciamento vengono caricati solo se i visitatori accettano.
  4. The Title, Message, Accept Button and Decline Button fields are already filled in, but you can customize them. The Message field works well for a short cookie notice. If you have a longer, detailed privacy policy, you'll want to add a privacy policy.
  5. Advanced Tracking is a tool that collects aggregated, anonymized data and is separate from any individual behavior tracked above. The toggle must be switched on to provide you with the insights and metrics available on your dashboard. GoDaddy also uses this data to improve your site’s performance, such as page loading speed, and must be turned on for the third-party tracking to work. As the website owner, you determine if this tracking should be enabled.
  6. Your changes are saved automatically. Select Preview to see the results, and when you’re ready to make the changes public, publish your site.
