How do I get my 1099-NEC form?
1099-NEC forms will be sent to the mailing address in the Payee account by the end of January. Verify and update the address and tax information as needed no later than the last week in December to avoid potential delays.
All resellers will receive a 1099-NEC tax form if:
- Received more than US$600 in payouts from GoDaddy in the previous year. The Payment History report shows all payments from January to December that will be in the 1099-NEC.
Note: In 2026, the payout threshold will increase to US$2000. - A W-9 form was completed during the payee setup process with a qualifying tax classification. See an example here. Choose your tax classification as advised by your tax professional.
- Qualifying classifications
- Individual/Sole Proprietor/Single-member LLC
- Partnership
- LLC-P
- Non-qualifying classifications
- Corporations, including LLC-S and LLC-C
- Qualifying classifications
- The Payee account is set up as a U.S. resident. For non-U.S. residents, please consult a local tax professional for further instruction.
Resellers will not receive a 1099-NEC if the above requirements are not met. Contact a GoDaddy Guide for assistance if the requirements have been met but have not received a 1099-NEC by mid-February, or if the information provided on the 1099-NEC is incorrect.
Note: All payments received through PayPal are included when calculating total income. Resellers may receive a separate 1099-NEC form directly from PayPal. Review and report income correctly and address any discrepancies to avoid duplicate reporting on taxes.
