Premium domain ordered by godaddy

Hello,

Unbelievable situation.

I've added a premium domain which was put on sale by afternic for $888 to godaddy shopping cart but then decided to ordered it via network solutions instead - the order process went fine my CC was charged for around 900$ and I got a confirmation from network solutions that they are processing the transfer of the domain from Afternic to me. Today I checked whois and what I saw is that godaddy themselves bought this domain from Afternic(1 day later I've placed the order through network solutions). They did so after I put the domain in their Cart without actual ordering!!!

The new WHOIS domain data now is listed as:
Domain Name: P********N.ORG
Registry Domain ID: D2486828-LROR
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.godaddy.com
Registrar URL: http://www.whois.godaddy.com
Updated Date: 2019-03-14T00:27:45Z
Creation Date: 1998-11-20T05:00:00Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2019-11-19T05:00:00Z
Registrar Registration Expiration Date:
Registrar: GoDaddy.com, LLC
Registrar IANA ID: 146
Registrar Abuse Contact Email: abuse@godaddy.com
Registrar Abuse Contact Phone: +1.4806242505

Can somewhat from godaddy contact me to resolve this serious issue ASAP???

Solution

Re: Premium domain ordered by godaddy

It appears the domain has been registered since 1998, and the domain is being purchased from a 3rd party seller.  It can take some time for the domain to be transferred into your account.  There are a few ways this could be done, check with the broker facilitating the transaction to see if they need anything from you.  An aftermarket domain can be listed on multiple networks, but it's up to the company you go with to oversee the transaction.  If all is good it would still be a few days.

Re: Premium domain ordered by godaddy

Hmm.. you mean that's because Afternic is a Godaddy company I see the
domain is registered under their registrar data?

Re: Premium domain ordered by godaddy

Yes, GoDaddy is the registrar but it's probably sold by a 3rd party.
