    Internal Error 500 when Importing backup files

    Hello,

     

    I just moved from Wordpress Business Plan Hosting to Godaddy. I now try to import my data through the wordpress import tools, but every time it does not work and give me the following message: 

     

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

     

     

    I have tried lot of things: increase my memory capacity, deactivate all plugins, use classic theme, nothing work. 

     

    The only way to make it work is to actually deactivate the woocommerce plugin. But in that case, none of my products can be imported either my existing orders and users

     

    Any advices ?

    Assuming that both sites are on GoDaddy, I would suggest going to https://prosites.godaddy.com

    This is included with your GoDaddy account, from here you can add both the current site and the new site and then you backup / clone the current site to the new one - this is much better than trying to use the WordPress import feature
