So, I accidentally let one of my domains expire last week, I paid for it and now it's not connected to the website, I called tech support and they want to charge me $49 bucks to fix it.....rip off! I've looked in the control panel and can't find anything. No way I'm paying $49 - yes, I should not have let the domain expire, but when I paid for it the site should have just come back up....not happy. Anyone have a suggestion for me?
It's not clear what you were offered, as Go Daddy doesn't have fees related to re-establishing the DNS for your domain. If you already paid for a renewal, it may take some time for the DNS to propagate following that action. Did your website also expire? You'll want to touch base with our customer support if the domain is still not resolving to the website.
