For some reason I cannot get https://valetstorage.com to work. It worked fine up to two days ago. The website is forwarded to https://www.valet.storage but that should make no difference since it worked just fine.
I am clicking the link directly from godaddy's confirmation email about the ssl certificate from April 2019.
Now I get SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN
Any ideas?

It looks like you are using Managed WordPress which only supports 1 SSL for the main domain. If you would like to have an additional domain with SSL, you will need to use something like CloudFlare DNS which includes SSL on their system.
You need this vs domain forwarding in GoDaddy as the domain forwarding in GoDaddy doesn't include SSL so that would give a mismatch or no cipher
