Remove your WordPress site from Patchstack to enable Vulnerability Protection
If you're an existing Patchstack customer, you'll need to remove your WordPress site from Patchstack before you can activate Vulnerability Protection in your Managed Hosting for WordPress Security dashboard.
Why Is This Required?
Patchstack also powers Vulnerability Protection and can only be linked to one account at a time. Removing Patchstack from an existing account allows GoDaddy to register and manage it on your behalf, giving you the same powerful protection, fully integrated into your site.

- On the left, select Sites.

- Select the site to open its settings.
- Scroll down to find the Remove Site or Delete Site option.
- Confirm the removal when prompted.
Your site will be disconnected from Patchstack immediately.
Step 2: Cancel Your Patchstack Subscription (If Applicable)
If you have an active paid Patchstack subscription and no longer need it after switching to Vulnerability Protection, you can cancel it to avoid being charged further.

- While on the Account tab, on the right, in the Terminate account section, select Terminate.
- Follow the on-screen confirmation steps.
