Delete a website from my GoDaddy account
While you may have reasons for wanting to completely remove a website from your GoDaddy account, keep in mind that as soon as you delete a product, you can no longer use it, even if you still have time left on your subscription.
With this understanding, instead of permanently deleting your website, consider these options first:
- Unpublish your site rather than deleting it. That way it won’t be visible to anyone on the internet, but you can easily publish it later, if you decide it’s a good option for your business.
- Turn off auto-renew so that you can keep using the site until your subscription ends. After that it’ll be automatically deleted and you’ll no longer be billed for it.
