Remove plugins
You can remove a WordPress plugin using the WordPress admin panel. We always recommend removing unused themes and plugins to help improve the site performance and reduce potential security concerns.
- Sign in to WordPress
 - Click Plugins.
 - Pick the following set of steps based on how many plugins you wish to remove.
 
Remove one active plugin
- Find the plugin in the list.
 - Click Deactivate under the name of the plugin.
 - After the page reloads, click Delete.
 
Remove one inactive plugin
- Find the plugin in the list.
 - Click Delete under the name of the plugin.
 
Remove all inactive plugins
- Above the plugin table, click Inactive.
 - At the top of the plugin table, click the check box in the header row to select all of the plugins.
 - Use the bulk actions drop down to select delete.
 - Click the Apply button next to the drop down.
