Search for a conversation

Use the search tool in your GoDaddy Conversations inbox to quickly find conversations you’ve had with customers.

Tips for a successful search:

  • Search is applied to all your messages, whether they’re active, archived or marked as spam.
  • When searching, use whole words, e.g. to find the name “Jennabelle”, type the full name, not just “Jenna”.
  • Your search phrase should contain a minimum of 2 characters if you're searching on the mobile app and 4 characters if you’re using Conversations on the web.
  • We exclude common words like “and”, “the” and “hi”, so searching these won’t return any results.
  • You can search for contact names or keywords.
Note:
  • The GoDaddy Conversations mobile app is not available with free Conversations plans.
  • For now, GoDaddy Conversations is available in English-language markets.
  1. Sign in to your GoDaddy Conversations mobile app.
  2. In the lower-left corner, tap Conversations to see a list of all your unarchived conversations.

  3. In the search bar, type a keyword or search phrase. If the term exists in any of your message folders, the conversation will be returned and you can tap it to read the details.

  1. In a web browser, go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. If you have the standalone version of Conversations, scroll to Conversations Unified Inbox and select Web Inbox on the right.

    OR

    If you have a Websites + Marketing plan, scroll to Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site. In the menu on the left, select Conversations.

    You'll see a list of all your unarchived conversations.

  3. Select Search to expand the search bar.

  4. Type in a keyword or search phrase. If the term exists in any of your message folders, the conversation will be returned and you can tap it to read the details.
