Professional Email Help

What are my DNS settings for Professional Email?

If you need to verify that you’re receiving email, check if your Professional Email's domain’s DNS settings are set up properly. You can find your DNS settings in the Email & Office Dashboard.

  1. Sign in to your Email & Office Dashboard (use your GoDaddy username and password).
  2. Under Users, next to your account, select Manage.
  3. Under Manage, select Set Mail Destination. You’ll see a list of your domain’s DNS settings listed.
    The Email & Office Dashboard with the Set Mail Destination button highlighted.
  4. Make sure the DNS records listed match what’s in your settings. The DNS records for Professional Email are as follows:
    • 1 CNAME record
      NameTarget
      emailemail.secureserver.net
    • 2 MX records
      HostPriorityTarget
      @0smtp.secureserver.net
      @10mailstore1.secureserver.net
    • 1 SRV record
      PortProtocolNameServicePriorityWeightTarget
      443_tcp@_autodiscover1001autodiscover.secureserver.net
    • 2 TXT records
      NameTXT Value
      @v=spf1 include:secureserver.net -all
      Note: We only have 1 TXT record listed here. There’s a second TXT record on your Set Mail Destination page starting with a “D” and numbers (for example, D1234567). This record is unique to your domain and should already be in your DNS settings if you've set up Professional Email.
  5. When you’re finished viewing your settings, select Done.
