What are my DNS settings for Professional Email?
If you need to verify that you’re receiving email, check if your Professional Email's domain’s DNS settings are set up properly. You can find your DNS settings in the Email & Office Dashboard.
- Sign in to your Email & Office Dashboard (use your GoDaddy username and password).
- Under Users, next to your account, select Manage.
- Under Manage, select Set Mail Destination. You’ll see a list of your domain’s DNS settings listed.
- Make sure the DNS records listed match what’s in your settings. The DNS records for Professional Email are as follows:
- 1 CNAME record
Name Target email email.secureserver.net - 2 MX records
Host Priority Target @ 0 smtp.secureserver.net @ 10 mailstore1.secureserver.net - 1 SRV record
Port Protocol Name Service Priority Weight Target 443 _tcp @ _autodiscover 100 1 autodiscover.secureserver.net - 2 TXT records
Name TXT Value @ v=spf1 include:secureserver.net -all Note: We only have 1 TXT record listed here. There’s a second TXT record on your Set Mail Destination page starting with a “D” and numbers (for example, D1234567). This record is unique to your domain and should already be in your DNS settings if you've set up Professional Email.
- 1 CNAME record
- When you’re finished viewing your settings, select Done.
