About .TRAVEL domains

All .TRAVEL domains have the same requirements, restrictions, and supported features, such as registrations and renewals, transfers, and DNS.

Registrations and renewals

You must declare ties to the travel industry to register .TRAVEL domains by obtaining a UIN or completing self-vetted acknowledgement during registration.

New registrations

  • Registration length: 1-10 years
  • Must use: 1-63 characters
  • Can use: Letters (a-z characters), numbers (0-9) and hyphens (except in the 3rd and 4th characters of the domain name)
  • Cannot use: Special characters (e.g., & or #)
  • IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names): Not Supported

Renewals

  • Renewal length: 1-10 years
  • You can manually renew your domain anytime before it expires. We'll attempt to auto-renew on the expiration date, and we'll park the domain after the first failed billing attempt.
