Reset the download limit on a digital product order
Note: We've moved GoDaddy's online store infrastructure to a new platform to improve performance, reliability and security. As a result, you might temporarily be unable to sell digital products. The feature should be available again by the end of June, 2026.
When you add digital products to your online store in Websites + Marketing, customers can download the product 3 times. If a customer needs more downloads, you can reset their limit so that they can download it 3 more times. This applies only to that customer's existing order, not to the product as a whole.
- Go to your GoDaddy product page.
- Scroll down, expand Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site.
- On your dashboard, expand Store, and then select Orders.
- Select the order for which you want to reset the download limit.
- Under Files, select Reset Limits. The reset applies to all files associated with the order.
- To confirm, select OK.
- The limit reset happens immediately, no need to republish your website.
