Transfer my Airo AI Builder app to another GoDaddy account
Airo AI Builder allows streamlined app transfers between GoDaddy accounts. Collaborate with team members, hand off projects to clients, or reorganize your work across multiple accounts.
Required: Projects can be transferred between accounts with Airo AI Builder Professional and Ultimate plans, but not free plans. Availability of Airo AI Builder features varies by plan. If something isn't accessible, check your current plan and upgrade to the necessary plan to unlock more features.
When you transfer a project, the entire project is moved to the new account, including everything built by Airo AI Builder and everything you uploaded or created related to that project. As part of the transfer process, the project is unpublished, and if applicable, the custom domain is disconnected from the project. The recipient can republish the project and add a custom domain once the transfer is complete.
Warning: If the project has a GoDaddy Payments account associated with it, then it can't be transferred between shopper accounts with this process. Instead, contact our GoDaddy Guides so they can copy your site and rebuild it in the new account.
- Go to the app's Airo AI Builder apps page.
- Select
menu next to the app your want to transfer, and then select Transfer. - Read the message to understand the transfer requirements, enter your recipient's email for their GoDaddy account and then select Generate Code.
- Provide the unique code to your recipient. The recipient must go to their Airo AI Builder apps page, select Accept Transfer, enter the transfer code and then select Accept.
Required: The recipient must accept the transfer within the expiration time period. Otherwise, a new transfer code must be generated.
If you transfer an app and want it back later, the recipient needs to transfer it back using the steps above.
