GoDaddy - REFUND POLICY

We know refund policies can feel overwhelming at times. This page helps you understand whether your product can be refunded, how long you have to request a refund, and what might prevent one.

1. Refunds at a Glance

Products can be cancelled at any time, but refunds are only issued if requested within the applicable refund period, which is measured from the date of purchase or the date a renewal is processed. Refund eligibility depends on the product type, plan term, usage, and timing, and some products are not refundable under any circumstances. Most products follow the Standard Refund Windows in Section 2. Products with special rules, exceptions, or conditions are listed in Section 3.

Please note:

Refunds must be requested before your account is closed. Once an account is closed, refunds are no longer available, even if the product would otherwise qualify.
Brazilian customers may request refunds for eligible products only within 7 days (168 hours) from the date of the transaction, as required by local law.

2. Standard Refund Window

The refund windows below apply unless a product-specific exception in Section 3 applies.

3. Product Specific Exceptions

The products below have refund rules that differ from standard refund windows or include additional conditions such as usage, activation, work performed, or registry requirements.

Advertising & Marketing

Product / service	Refund policy
Ad Spend (SEV Premium)*	Ad spend and search marketing fees are non-refundable for the current month. Future prepaid months and future-month-additional ad spend and search marketing fees may be refunded.
Marketing Services Premium – Annual	Refundable within 30 days of purchase or renewal. After 30 days, the full year is payable and non-refundable, but future renewals will not be billed.
Marketing Services Premium – Monthly / Quarterly / Half-Yearly	Refundable within 48 hours of purchase or renewal only if no work has been performed. If work has begun or cancellation occurs after 48 hours, the plan is fully payable and non-refundable for that term.
SEO Services	12-month commitment. Cancellation within 48 hours provides a refund for remaining months only. Current month is non-refundable. Monthly plans cancelled after 48 hours are non-refundable for the current and past months. Semi-annual and annual plans cancelled after 48 hours receive a 50% prorated refund for unused months.

Auctions

Commerce Services

Assisted Service	Refundable after the initial three months.
Commerce Website Support Service	Refundable if cancelled within 30 days (720 hours). 30% fee if unused; 70% fee if less than 50% used; non-refundable if more than 50% of hours are used.

Purchased Product with Free Domain	If the purchased product is cancelled, the list price of the free domain (non-discounted) will be deducted from the refund amount.
Domain Backorders	Non-refundable once applied to an auction. Refundable within 30 days (720 hours) if not yet applied.
Domain Block & Domain Reserve	Auto Renewal - Renewal fees are non-refundable after the expiration date. Manual Renewal / New Registration - Always non-refundable.
Domain Consolidation or Monitoring, Premium Domain Names, Redemption Fees	Always non-refundable.
Domain Name Registrations – Standard refund windows	New Registration, Auto-Renewal (multi-year) and Manual Renewal: 5 days (120 hours). Auto-Renewal (1-year): 45 days (1080 hours). Domain tasting is prohibited; refunds may be denied or reduced.
Domain Name Registrations – Country-Specific refund periods	.AU, .COM.AU, .NET.AU, .ORG.AU – 3 days (72 hours). .CZ , .PH, .COM.PH, .NET.PH, .ORG.PH (Manual Renewals): 59 days (1416 hours). .IT – Auto-Renewal / Manual Renewal: 14 days (336 hours). .MX, .COM.MX – New Registration: 45-day grace period (fee frozen, charged day 46; no refund after). If the domain name is deleted during the Grace Period the fee is unfrozen. .PE, .COM.PE, .NET.PE, .NOM.PE, .ORG.PE – Manual Renewal: 29 days (696 hours). .SE – Manual Renewal: 69 days (1656 hours). .SG – Manual Renewal: 29 days (696 hours). .SO, .COM.SO, .NET.SO, .ORG.SO – Auto-Renewal / Manual Renewal: 4 days (96 hours). .UK, .CO.UK, .ME.UK, .ORG.UK – New Registration/Auto-Renewal/Manual Renewal - 5 days (120 hours).
Domain Pre-Registrations (gTLDs)	Application fees are non-refundable.

Trustee Fees	Refundable only if the domain was not successfully registered. Non-refundable upon renewal.

IT Services

If IT Service has already been performed, then it is non-refundable (if not yet performed, eligible for a refund within 30 days (720 Hours) of the date of the transaction)
GoDaddy IT Services – Annual	Always non-refundable.
GoDaddy IT Services – Monthly	Non-refundable if one or more requests are completed during the billing period.

Security

Sitelock 911	Refundable within 30 days (720 hours) only if the product has not been activated.
Website Security	Refunds available within 30 days (720 hours) only if manual malware removal was not completed.
Security Products with Remediation or Managed Services	Non-refundable once remediation or managed services have begun, whether initiated manually or automatically.

Subscriptions & Bundles

Discount Domain Club	Non-refundable if used for a purchase.
AI Credits	All AI Credit packs purchased separately outside of a subscription are non-refundable. Annual Plans that give you AI Credits are refundable within 30 days (720 hours) of the date of transaction as long as no AI Credits given as part of the plan have been consumed, otherwise the subscription becomes non-refundable. Monthly Plans that give you AI Credits are refundable within 48 hours of the date of transaction as long as no AI Credits given as part of the plan have been consumed, otherwise the subscription becomes non-refundable. The above refund policy applies to all services which use AI Credits, including but not limited to Airo™ AI Builder and other AI Services.
GoDaddy Airo™ All Access	Refundable within 7 days (168 hours), except the 12-week offer which is non-refundable.
GoDaddy Airo™ Plus	Refundable within 7 days (168 hours) unless generated content has been accessed or downloaded, after which the subscription becomes non-refundable.
Office Max Bundles	Always non-refundable.

Website & Design Services

Product / service	Refund policy
Logo Design	Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of purchase. Non-refundable after 48 hours.
Website Build Services	30% cancellation fee when in progress; 70% when design delivered for review. Non-refundable after first revision or after 30 days. Considered complete 180 days from transaction date. Once performance has begun, web service design is considered completed 180 days (4320 hours) from the transaction date and will not be eligible for a refund thereafter
Website Care & Marketing Services	Non-refundable if the plan has been used during the billing period Usage includes completed requests or bundled website design delivery.
Website Hosting (Design-Related)	Eligible per standard refund terms.
Website Makeover Services	30% cancellation fee when in progress; 70% when design delivered; non-refundable once complete.
Website Migration Services	Non-refundable once performed. Refundable within 30 days (720 hours) if not yet performed.

Website & Marketing Platforms

WordPress Premium Support	Refundable if cancelled before billing cycle end and no credits used. If service performed during the month, that month is non-refundable. Unused prepaid future months may be refunded.

Miscellaneous

Appraisals (Express & Certified)	Non-refundable once appraisal credit is applied.
Configuration Add-Ons, Merchant Accounts	Always non-refundable.
