If you are referring to a domain name and the person has a GoDaddy account, in the Domain manager there is an option for account change.

If you are referring to the GoDaddy account itself, it would just be updating the profile and I would advise to update the password. If you already have a GoDaddy account, you can reach out to support to have the 2 accounts merged.
