Should I add a description for every page on my website?

I have added a description for my home page about what my site is and what we do. I am wondering if I should add a description for every page on my website. If I should add a description about every page what should they be like (my site is a small clothing brand site.)

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Noticed you didn't get a response yet, so I'll jump in! 😉

Here's what you want to do -- on every single page:

    1. Your description needs to be unique to each specific page.
    2. Include your primary keyphrase that potential customers would use to find that page in a search.
    3. Be short, sweet, and include a call to action.   Think about what would cause you to click through if you saw the description in search engine results.
    4. Make sure all your descriptions are consistent with the personality and tone of your website.

    Does that help? 😉
