    Redirect www outside domain to Godaddy websitebuilder website problem

    A user created website from websitebuilder (in Godaddy) and can browse the web from www.abc.com (also registered in Godaddy). All are successfully and running smooth.

     

    He has another domain name abc.com.hk which is registered on other DNS supplier and he added below record in the DNS supplier

    cname record:  www.abc.com.hk      www.abc.com

     

    When he open www.abc.com.hk, it will display the below eror.

    File not found (404 error)

    If you think what you're looking for should be here, please contact the site owner.

     

    Since the website is built by godaddy - websitebuilder,  how to fix this issue? 

    The user want to www.abc.com.hk = www.abc.com

     

    Please help.

    @pppxxx  GoDaddy is only aware of abc.com as that is what is "on" their servers.  To change DNS off-GoDaddy doesn't make it so unless that domain is also added on the GoDaddy side.

     

    Why not just forward the .hk domain from the other DNS supplier to the abc.com?
