Domain registrar doesn't accept SRV for email

Morning from the UK

Wonder if anyone can help.  Recently transferred my domain from one registrar to another (who we need to stick with), but our emails which we host with go daddy 365 require us to enter an SRV record, which the new registrar does not allow us to do.  Therefore I can't get the domain to allow us to accept emails.

Go daddy aren't able to help, neither are the new registrar.

Any advice?  New registrar suggesting I convert SRV to TXT, Go Daddy couldn't help with this.

Do you have to use the new registrar for DNS as well as the domain registration. GoDaddy does allow for what is called Off Site DNS (https://www.godaddy.com/help/manage-dns-zone-files-for-your-domain-registered-at-another-company-404...)

This will allow you to maintain the DNS at GoDaddy where you can do all the records as needed but maintain the registration elsewhere.
