[Installatron] My blog backup failed

I am getting the following error: "Your server is running PHP version 5.4.45 but WordPress 5.2 requires at least 5.6.20."

Newbie here and most of these automated updates have always worked.

With this automated email failure notification, not sure where to go to resolve. Any help or suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds like perhaps you might still be on the Linux Deluxe hosting which does not support the newer versions of PHP - if this is the case you'll need to reach out to support about getting a cPanel server which does support it and migrate your data

If you have a cPanel server already it may just be a matter of selecting the newer PHP version for you website. You can search for PHP from the cPanel screen and then select the newer version 7.x
