Hey there @kim120ha,

It can be a bit confusing if you're new to the process. The Domain Buy service is something you use to have GoDaddy reach out to a domain owner to see if they want to sell it.

And yes, you can get a refund. I believe there are some stipulations to it, but if you haven't actually used the service then you should be able to get your money back. Just call phone support and they should be able to help you with a quickness.

Hi @kim120ha,

Welcome to the Community!

When you purchase the Domain Broker Service, you are not purchasing the domain. You are purchasing the service of GoDaddy brokers to reach out to the current domain name registrant (owner) to negotiate for the purchase of the domain.

GoDaddy's Domain Broker Team agents are the only ones that can cancel and refund this service. While this is usually non-refundable, you are welcome to call at 480-366-3303 from 6AM-6PM PST/US on Monday -Friday. Or you may send an email to domainbuy@godaddy.com and advise them that this was purchased in error, has had no bidding information submitted, and you'd like to cancel and receive a refund for the service. Due to email volume, please allow up to 3 business days for reply.
