transfer domain from godaddy to bluehost

I'm trying to transfer my domain from godaddy to bluehost.  When I change the nameservers and unlock the domain does go daddy automatically email me the “transfer EPP code,” or authorization code.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks friends

Hi @oneeyemark, Thanks for being part of GoDaddy Community! It sounds like there's a little confusion here. There are two types of "transfers" that you may be talking about. A domain name registration transfer requires that you purchase the transfer with the new registrar. If You're moving the domain registration, you can request your authorization code within your GoDaddy account.

There is also a transfer of hosting service. This is usually done by updating the nameservers for your domain so that it points to a new host. If you need to do that, please see the instructions here

Hi @oneeyemark,

You have to request a domain transfer from support....... https://www.godaddy.com/contact-us.aspx
