Different Shipping Methods for Different Products

I handle motors and batteries for RC race cars. The batteries are considered hazardous and must be shipped ground only. The motors may go via any method available. I need to restrict battery shipments to UPS Ground, FedX Ground, or USPS Parcel Select only.

Some customers do not understand about the special shipping requirements for lithium batteries and wonder why their shipment took extra days. I have already put a big note on each battery item about only ground services available, but still they choose services such as Priority Mail which is not acceptable.

Hey there @fastzrex 

It sounds like the Websites + Marketing website builder isn't the tool you need for a website. You need more customization than is allowed in the current version of W+M. I would suggest looking into WordPress/WooCommerce or maybe Magento to solve your issues.

We also wanted to be able to offer different shipping options for different items and after calling GoDaddy we were told that their Marketing /Ecommerce website builder doesn't have those capabilities. Seems like a big step backwards from their old "outdated" shopping cart which allowed you to choose shipping methods as well as countries you wanted to ship to for each individual product.  Yes, they told us we should have purchased wordpress...blah blah blah for more control but that of course was only after we purchased this one.  Very poor product as far as shipping options go.
