I'm using Google APIs right now and limiting by Server IP. I can find my current server IP just fine but the IP keeps changing.
@dovi, let me start by saying that someone might prove me wrong.
However, it sounds like shared hosting relies on a dynamic IP address, rather than a static IP address. By its very definition, a dynamic IP address is ever-changing and the nature of how the IP address is determined is largely random (for all intents and purposes) and unpredictable. If you require a static IP address, you may want to consider paying a little extra each month for a hosting service that would provide that; I know GoDaddy offers a few options to accomplish this.
Hi, your shared hosting IP address does not change. Only one is offered per hosting account. If you would prefer a more static IP, I would suggest purchasing a Dedicated IP address. Check it out here: https://www.godaddy.com/help/what-is-a-dedicated-ip-1053
Support gave me the IPs for the cluster housing my hosting. I still don't know where to find that cluster without asking support but at least for now, my issue is solved.
