Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at j79l427861737.db.42786173.d74.hostedresource.net:3308. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

  • Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
  • Are you sure you have typed the correct hostname?
  • Are you sure the database server is running?

If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

I'm assuming you are on Managed WordPress - can you get to phpMyAdmin?? if so if you go to the tools and the file manager can you check the wp-config.php file and see if your database information is there.

If you go to https://myh.godaddy.com you should see your site - when you go to settings you'll see something about phpMyAdmin - click on that and then you'll see it

Ok so your database is there - I would check in the file manager and make sure the user / password match in the wp-config.php to what you used for php my admin - you can also see if there is a backup from earlier today tthat you can restore

1) I'm not sure why you are saying GoDaddy is going to take $80 - unless site is up for renewal.....

2) If you go to https://myh.godaddy.com (which I'm assuming you got to your site as you got into phpMyAdmin)...

When looking at the top there should be Overview, Backups, Tools, Settings

From the Backups, you should be able to restore a backup - that would probably be the easiest thing to do.

OR

you can go to Tools -> File Manager

 Here you should see the

From there you can open the wp-config.php file and then if needed click the edit button in the bottom corner

You'll want to make sure the user / password match to what you used to log into phpMyAdmin and then the server should be the same as what you see for phpMyAdmin with a :3308 at the end

If you need further assistance, as this is something with your account - I would suggest calling into support as perhaps something needs to be reset with your account
