I'm in the process of upgrading and moving an old php 5.0 web site from an equally old Godaddy linux server, to a Deluxe Linux site.
Prevoiusly the site looked like this.. /root - index file and a few php files that generate visitor pages. /various - site asset folders /private - (BasicAuth) backend php files for owner to edit site.
I think GoDaddy says it should look like this, is this correct? /Public_html - as the root /Public_html/various /Public_html/private
Should I keep the private folder in the public_html folder?
I've tried running php in other folders that weren't inside Public_html, with no luck. Is there a cpannel setting or other?
