Kaspersky Anti-Virus is being discontinued on Plesk VPS
Plesk will no longer sell or renew Kaspersky licenses starting September 29, 2024. Kaspersky Anti-Virus is a security application that can be installed on Virtual Private Servers (VPS).
What do you recommend I do?
If Kaspersky Anti-Virus is installed on your VPS, we highly recommend you remove the extension and install an alternative. Plesk recommends installing Sophos Anti-Virus. This ensures you're using a security application that receives regular updates.
How do I know if Kaspersky Anti-Virus is installed on my VPS?
- Sign in to Plesk.
- In the left menu, select Extensions.
- Select My Extensions.
- See if Kaspersky Anti-Virus is in your list of extensions.
