Hover (Tucows): Set mail destination

To finish setting up Office 365 from GoDaddy on a domain at Hover, you need to add and change DNS records to point your domain name’s email to Office 365.

The values you need for each new record are provided on your Office 365 Set Mail Destination page, after you verify your domain ownership.

  1. Log in to your Hover account.
  2. If you have multiple domain names, click the domain name you want to edit.
  3. Click the DNS tab.
  4. For each new record click Add New, and then enter the following:
    • TXT record: For Record Type select TXT, and then enter the information we show in your Office 365 account.
    • CNAME records: For Record Type select CNAME, and then enter the information we show in your Office 365 account.
    • MX records: For Record Type select MX, and then enter the information we show in your Office 365 account.
    • SRV records: For Record Type select SRV, and then enter the information we show in your Office 365 account.
  5. Click Save.

  • Have GoDaddy check your new DNS settings, by logging into your account, and clicking I updated these settings. Check, please! You'll get an email when your Office 365 address is ready to go!
