Troubleshoot notifications for Chat + Conversations

Required: You need a Websites + Marketing plan to use Chat + Conversations. If you're subscribed to Conversations standalone you won't have this feature.

Messages from your GoDaddy website chat widget are sent to your Conversations inbox, and you can enable or disable email notifications for these messages.

If you’ve set up your notification preferences but they’re not working as expected, here are a few things you can try.

Note: For now, GoDaddy Conversations is available in English only.

Not getting email notifications:

  1. Confirm that the email address you’re checking is the one registered to receive email notifications. Follow the steps for managing notifications for Chat + Conversations to make sure the right email address has been enabled.
  2. Check the junk folder for your email account and make sure notifications aren’t being sent there. Mark the email address "notifications@mail.conversations.godaddy.com" as not spam.

Not getting notifications in your web browser:

  1. Turn off any device or browser “do not disturb” settings.
  2. In your browser’s settings, disable notifications and then re-enable them for GoDaddy Conversations. You can also do this by following the steps for managing notifications for Chat + Conversations.
