Downloadbare bestanden en een PDF-viewer toevoegen

Je kunt bestanden uploaden naar je website. Bezoekers kunnen deze vervolgens downloaden voor offline gebruik. Dit kan van pas komen om onder andere zaken zoals flyers, medische formulieren en ontheffingen van aansprakelijkheid te delen. Je moet een Websites + Marketing Basis-abonnement of hoger hebben. Nearly 50 file formats are supported, including Microsoft Word and other text documents, .pdf (Portable Document Files), spreadsheets, and more than 20 file types just for images and videos. The list is constantly growing.

Opmerking:
  • Each file can be no larger than 30 MB.
  • The file name should be no more than 50 characters.
  • You can add up to 15 files in the section. If you need more, create another Files section.
  • If you add an .mp3 or other music file, someone selecting the file will play it instead of downloading it. To download, your visitors will need to right-click the file and select Save As....

  1. Selecteer Website bewerken om je websitebouwer te openen.
  2. Ga naar de pagina en de locatie waar je de downloadbare bestanden wilt toevoegen en voeg een sectie toe.
    • To display a list various file types (documents, spreadsheets, images or .pdfs), search for the Files section.
    • To display a single .pdf directly on the page for people to see before they download it, search for the PDF Viewer section.
  3. Nadat je je lay-out hebt gekozen, selecteer je Toevoegen om een nieuwe sectie in te voegen.
  4. Customize the background color, title, heading and description.
  5. If you're displaying a list of files, in the right panel, select Add to add a file. Repeat this step to add more files to your site.
    • To rename a file you've added, select its name in the center preview area. Then, in the right panel, change the name in the File Label field.
    • You won't be able to change the file type in parentheses. That's important to let people know what type of file they're downloading.
    • To delete the file, in the right panel, select Delete File.
  6. If you're displaying a single .pdf, select Upload File to add your .pdf. The PDF Viewer can only upload one file.
  7. Je wijzigingen worden automatisch opgeslagen. Wanneer je klaar bent, selecteer je Voorbeeld weergeven om de resultaten te bekijken. Publiceer je site zodat je bezoekers je wijzigingen kunnen zien.
