What is omni-commerce?
GoDaddy’s omni-commerce solution supports both in-person selling and online selling, providing a consistent commerce experience across all channels you use to transact. This means that, regardless of whether you sell through in-person (GoDaddy Smart Terminals) or online channels (Online Store, Managed Hosting for WordPress, Marketplaces), everything will be synchronized and uniform, including your online sales, inventory, catalog, and payments.
GoDaddy’s omni-commerce solution brings together all your selling channels into Commerce Home—one unified dashboard where you can manage your entire business.
What are the benefits?
- Seamless selling across channels: With our omni-commerce solution, you can sell across in-person and online channels without friction, delivering a consistent experience to your customers whether they shop via an online store, a pay link, a POS device, or a marketplace.
- Unified management: Manage your in-store and online sales, inventory, catalog, and payments seamlessly in one easy-to-use system. You can also set up or edit your online store directly from your Commerce Home dashboard.
- Real-time synchronization: Different parts of your commerce journey, like order statuses and management, product setup, reporting, commerce settings, shipping and fulfillment, and more, are synchronized in real time across all channels.
- Enhanced customer experience: Customers enjoy a consistent and branded experience regardless of the channel they use, which helps build trust and loyalty.
- Seamless inventory sync: Update inventory once and it syncs everywhere. No more overselling or manual reconciliation between systems.
- Complete order visibility: See all orders from every channel in one place—fulfill, refund, or ship from any surface (web or terminal).
How do I enable and set up the omni-commerce experience?
