Swindled into buying GoDaddy Online Bookkeeping as Microsoft Invoicing is discontinued

I signed up for the Professional Email with the intent of using Microsoft Invoicing as part of their Office package. However, when I visited the site, I get the following message:

Microsoft Invoicing is not currently available in your region. Depending on your business requirements, you might want to try Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central instead. Sign up for a free trial at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2092565.

I guess I'm a little confused by your post. I'm an end user like you.

I went to this page https://www.godaddy.com/help/understanding-business-apps-from-microsoft-27840 and it has an alert about the 2/2020 shut down date for Invoicing.

    I also found this https://mspoweruser.com/microsoft-to-discontinue-microsoft-invoicing-and-outlook-customer-manager-fo...

While Microsoft still has the Invoicing product page up - and it does say it's included - I can understand this could be confusing - but this is a Microsoft product / and their decision.

It sounds like you  reached out to GoDaddy and they offered your the GoDaddy Bookkeeping as an alternative as Microsoft is no longer offering their product.

Appreciate your help @PL281. I know I visited the Godaddy site you linked, but the notes regarding the discontinue of Invoicing are new. I wonder when that article was updated. As for Microsoft Office link, I see it was posted Nov 12, 2019. I will admit to not seeing it. I did research before and after that date but took GoDaddy's feature promotion list at face value for what it was offering. A better footnote, or omission all together of that feature during promotion, comparison and purchasing would have made it more apparent.

    Thanks again for your help.
