@law53ut @gemma_nicholson forwarding a domain name to another URL/website is actually quite simple. Login to your domain manager, click the checkbox next to the domain you wish to forward then click "forward" in the upper menu above the list of domains. Then enter the complete URL you wish to forward to and click "accept" or "confirm". That's it. The forwarding will resolve in 24-48 hours.

Re: Domain Forwarding to blank white page

Regarding the above conversations, if you forward your domain with masking and the result is a website with just a blank page, this almost always means that the page you're forwarding to does not allow masking. This is is often the case with websites that offer a premium service for a custom domain.

For cases where letters were added on the end of the forwarded URL, this has occasionally occurred when our masking services needed to be filtered for security reasons. It shouldn't still be happening.

@gemma_nicholson When did you setup the forwarding? I'm assuming it was fairly recently? Domain forwarding can take 24-48 hours to properly resolve. If it hasn't resolved in that time please "@" mention me here and I will help you further.

I see a lot of questions on forwarding or pointing a domain to another site, but never and answer as to how to do it. I have done it before with other domains I own, but it seemed simpler and I can't find anything now on forwarding.

Re: Domain Forwarding to blank white page

Hi,

What you can do is to forward http://www.mrandmrsmarkland.com/

to

http://theknot.com/us/gemma-nicholson-and-kyle-markland

that way, anyone who looks for or click on the link http://www.mrandmrsmarkland.com/

will be redirected to http://theknot.com/us/gemma-nicholson-and-kyle-markland.

You can just add masking so the URL on the browser will appear as http://www.mrandmrsmarkland.com/

Best wishes by the way. 🙂

Thank you, I finally did click on a link that took me to forwarding. All is good, it's just not very intuitive unless you know what you are looking for. But I got it. Thanks again.

Re: Domain Forwarding to blank white page

Having the same issue with the last few weeks. Have tried on multiple computers, Mobiles, at different times and waited long periods but to now avail. It's the same as you with a blank screen with a little loading ring.

Has anyone solved this yet?

Is there a charge for forwarding a domain?
