Domain renewal price missmatch

Hello,

I have a domain with godaddy, today 2 hours back I received a renewal due email, which is saying Rs.700/year for renewal. I clicked the RENEW NOW button and login to my account but the cart is showing Rs.1298 + Tax total is Rs.1545.80, I am confused why is it showing different amount.

Thanks,

Aneesh

Could that be for 2 additional years?  It usually defaults to the initial term, but this can be changed in the cart before checkout.

Hey @Aneesh

By default, your account settings are set to two-year time frames on renewal unless you change it yourself. Check to see how many years it renewed for. If it only renewed for one year, then you should probably give GoDaddy a call and find out what's up.
