I've been through the convoluted process of transferring my domain, cumnorhillbooks.com from GoDaddy to my new hosting provider. Both the new provider and GoDaddy seem to think that the transfer completed several days ago: on the GoDaddy side, the domain does not show up under my products, or in the pending transfers list. However network tools (mxtoolbox.com) show that the DNS is still being served up by the GoDaddy name servers (at *.domaincontrol.com) with an IP address which ARINC reports is in a GoDaddy block. Naturally, this is completely screwing up my attempts to set things up at the new provider, because different tools are seeing different IPs for the same domain.
