The Rankings 

We ranked 30 pro football cities by the number of entrepreneurs per 100 people. Here’s what we found: 

  • Miami Gardens, Tampa, and Jacksonville form Florida’s entrepreneurial trifecta 
  • Glendale, AZ and Nashville, TN show that mid-sized metros are serious contenders
  • Nearly every city with a pro football team ranked above the national average when it came to concentration of entrepreneurship

What the Data Shows

Small business owners in pro football cities are building more than game-day buzz. They are demonstrating drive and impact in their respective fields, with each entrepreneur associated with creating 8 jobs, and each microbusiness driving up household median incomes for thew hole community.
